What do you want?

Firstly, we work with you to understand what sort of yacht is right for you.

You might already have ideas in this regard, but we will step you through a series of questions to paint a full picture of exactly what type of yacht will meet your needs:

  • Sailboat or motor yacht?

  • Superyacht, or something a little smaller?

  • Catamaran or monohull?

  • Performance or explorer yacht?

  • Long range, or built for speed over shorter distances?

  • New build or near new?

Clarity on these and other questions is gained through us understanding how you want to use your boat, where you might want to operate it, how many family or guests you’ll have on board and even whether you would like to charter your yacht, versus keeping it exclusively for personal use.

We’ll share examples of different yachts, helping to shape your thoughts through seeing what find (or don’t find) appealing. You may decide to try chartering a couple of yachts as part of this process, to gain an in-depth understanding of the pros and cons of different styles. We can arrange this on your behalf.

This is the single most important part of the yacht buying process. An investment of time here will create a solid foundation on which all future decisions can be built.
